Upon channeling the Aetheryte you find it to be attuned to a specific place. It may be disorienting, depending on your sensitivity to aether sickness. Luckily the air is fresh and clear, the ground is soft and the smell of warm food and fresh flowers are on the wind.In the heart of the forest, somewhere in Eorzea is a little pocket amongst towering trees. A lush garden surrounding an odd but sweet little cottage with a sign on the front door.

Welcome back to Humble Hollow!
We're so glad you enjoyed your stay enough to return! You should be able to travel easily by way of Aetheryte if you've been here before! If you wished to bring a new guest with you, simply travel ahead of them and inform the front desk of their name, and if you have an item that resonates with them that will be very helpful too. We should be able to bring them along quickly, much the same way you came to us the first time.
Please let us know how long you intend to stay. We have plenty of rooms available, the buffet is well stocked and as always, the lounge areas upstairs are free for visitors and guests alike! We hope you enjoy your stay and, as always, please let the front desk know if you need any assistance or have any questions!

Whatever your needs, our hosts are prepared to recommend you the perfect room to suit them. In most cases it is best to book a room especially recommended for you, but here are a few examples!
Deluxe Suite
The Works, so to speak; with a cozy comfortable sitting area around a fireplace, a kitchenette and dining nook and a full spa style bathtub lit by star and candlelight, it's a real home-away-from-home where you can relax and retreat with full independence and luxury.
Adventure Suite
A room for the whole party to get some much needed rest and rejuvenation, with plenty of beds, storage for all your gear and souvenirs, a full shower and spacious bath to wash away the grime of the road less travelled and melt away the weight of your duties. There's also a selection of tomes and games to wind down and sharpen your mind with.
Basic Suite
Simple and comfortable room including a spacious tub, comfortable bed, a cozy balcony. The view may be simple, trees and sky and the grounds around the building, but it is beautiful nonetheless.

Inkeeper and main proprietor of the Humble Hollow. The most common face at the front desk and always available in some capacity. The Bed & Breakfast is their pride and joy and they take great pains to keep it running smoothly and perfectly.
The Owner

Mysterious benefactor T'aimi credits with the existence of the establishment. "Without them none of this would be possible." Rarely seen about but occasionally makes an appearance when the mood strikes them.

A recent hire at Humble Hollow with a quiet and even demeanor learning the ins and outs and tending to various duties from the front desk to housekeeping and everything in between.

This is a public, Safe For Work venue, please do not engage in NSFW behaviours here. Including in the private and amenity rooms as they become available.
Humble Hollow is a safe haven, a place for people in need. We do not allow physical or magical altercations where guests aim to harm each other. ICly, those who are an intentional danger to other guests would not find a crystal invitation in the first place. (If there is something "dangerous" about your character but it can be controlled that is different. If you are unsure, please ask a staff member before engaging in RP in the venue)
Guests are welcome to take part in public areas such as lobby, lounge, and dining areas freely. If you would like to book a room or an extended stay, please speak to a staff member to let them know what you need and how long you intend to stay. (At present we only have the one actual usable room, the rest are theater of the mind, but staff still needs to know this information OOCly as well as ICly)

--WHAT SERVICES ARE OFFERED HERE?
We're a Bed & Breakfast! Think of it like a hotel with a built-in cafe, but cozier. You can partake of the public areas including the dining and living area where you can rest and relax or have a bite to eat, even take some baked goods home with you when you leave, or you can book a room for a few nights or even an extended stay. Let the staff know what you're looking for when you come in!--DOES IT COST IC OR OOC GIL?
We are willing to take either but neither is required. If gil is what you have to give, then wonderful! But other arrangements can be made. You might even be able to get something for free! Or...seemingly at least.
actual OOC gil tips are wonderful but please do not feel obligated! We're just here to provide a fun RP experience for people. ♥--WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY "NEED"?
Aetheryte crystals are found by people who would in some way benefit from a visit or a stay. It could be as simple as being hungry but not near convenient food sources, a bit turned around in the woods and looking for shelter, finding yourself feeling lonely and in need of some casual socialization, or it could be more dire; alone, injured in the world, trapped, lost, or starving or perhaps you need a place to hide from pursuers or somewhere to escape to for a while or lay low while things calm down. You might not even realize that you have such a need, maybe you've been looking for someone specific, and they frequent Humble Hollow, or will also be there in the near future, or perhaps you don't know who you need, but coming to the Hollow increases your chances of bumping into someone who can solve a problem you have! The mechanism by which invitations are found work in mysterious ways...--CAN MY CHARACTER STUMBLE ON THE HOLLOW WITHOUT AN AETHERYTE CRYSTAL? CAN I LEAVE ON FOOT?
Not generally, no. While there are very specific circumstances which COULD lead to one wandering in seemingly through the woods, it is rare, confusing, and not viable for just anyone. (Such would need to be invited or discussed with staff)
Any guest who would like to go for a walk outside of the clearing is, of course, welcome to. There are a few walking paths, not quite roads, but wish worn paths...though they twist often enough and...somehow you always seem to end up back at the Hollow.--QUESTION?
